Many people understand algorithmics as writing commands on a computer. However, it is clear that many algorithmic activities can be done without a computer. One of these is board games. In this case, the specific game "Robot City" incorporates both control commands and more complex algorithmic constructs, such as branching statements, loops, and functions. Each time, to collect resources, players create increasingly complex and optimal algorithms. The game encourages collaboration and teamwork—only through cooperation can greater results be achieved. Like all games, it promotes enjoying the process while also developing thinking skills.
